Year 1 Learner Ammara Wins Borough-Wide Competition!
We are delighted to announce that Ammara, a talented Year 1 learner from Kates Hill Primary, part of Dudley Academies Trust, has won a prestigious borough-wide competition! Ammara’s exceptional artistic skills and creativity have earned her the honour of designing the front cover of the programme for the highly anticipated BCIMO Family Day.
This exciting event, which draws families from across the borough, will feature Ammara’s captivating design, showcasing her remarkable talent to a wide audience. In addition to this incredible opportunity, Ammara has also been awarded tickets for herself and her family to attend the BCIMO Family Day.
We are all immensely proud of Ammara’s accomplishment. This achievement not only highlights the creative potential within our learners but also reinforces our commitment to fostering a supportive and nurturing environment where young talents can thrive.

The BCIMO Family Day will take place on 17th May 2025 at the Very Light Rail National Innovation Centre in Dudley. Highlights of the event include the official opening by railway icon Pete Waterman OBE, exclusive rides aboard the Coventry Very Light Rail vehicle, and the chance to explore the last T69 tram ever driven on the Midland Metro network.
