Our School
Welcome to Kates Hill Primary School
Kates Hill Primary School is a vibrant two-form entry primary school located in the heart of Dudley, proudly serving our local community. We offer a nurturing morning and afternoon nursery provision, giving our youngest learners a strong and supportive start to their education.
At Kates Hill, we are committed to providing a rich and engaging curriculum, enhanced by a wide range of opportunities beyond the classroom. From educational visits and enrichment activities to creative and sporting experiences, we aim to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and develop well-rounded learners.
Our school has a proud history. The original Kates Hill Council School on Peel Street was sadly damaged by fire on 24 June 1969. The current Kates Hill Primary School was subsequently completed in 1972, including a purpose-built nursery unit, and was officially opened on 2 May 1973 by Alderman Morris, then Mayor of Dudley.
Today, we continue to build on this legacy, fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment where every child is valued and encouraged to achieve their very best.
“At Kates Hill Primary School, we believe every child should feel inspired, supported and proud of their achievements. We are dedicated to creating a caring environment where children thrive academically, socially and emotionally.”
