Welcome to Year 1!

Our classes are Nightingales and Finches. Miss Hall teaches in Nightingales and Mrs Parvaze teaches in Finches. Miss Millward will also be teaching both year 1 classes. We are joined by Mrs Checkley, Mrs Maynes and Mrs Wiltshire.  

Information about our learning in Year 1 can be found on our curriculum newsletters, which are sent out termly and can be found below. If you have any questions about Year 1, please feel free to ask a member of staff and we will be happy to help. 

Key messages:  

• All children are entitled for free school meals throughout year 1. School meals should be ordered through the My Child At School App 1 week in advance.  

• PE is on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Please ensure your child has correct PE kit in school on these days.  

• Toast money is £1 for the week and will need to be paid on Mondays. We are unable to accept money any other day of the week.  

• Water bottles are provided, however you are welcome to send you child in with their own. 

• Please ensure all uniform has your child’s name in it.
