Welcome to Year 3!

Our Year 3 classes are Knigfishers and Cuckoos. Mrs Subhan teaches in Kingfishers and Miss Davies teaches Cuckoos. Our teaching assistants are Miss Jones and Mrs Roberts.  

In our writing, reading and history lessons, this term, we will be learning about the Stone Age. The book we will be focusing on is ‘The Stone Age Boy’ by Satoshi Kitamura. This is a story about a boy who has a fall and finds himself in the Stone Age.  

In Maths, we will be concentrating on our Place Value skills, looking at numbers up to 1000.  

Key information: 

• Our PE day will be Monday, we will be doing PE for the whole afternoon. Please remember to take out earrings on these days. 

• School meals should be ordered through the My Child At School app 1 week in advance. 

• Toast money is £1 for the week and will need to be paid on Mondays. We are unable to accept money on any other day of the week.
