Welcome to Year 2! 

Our classes are Swifts, taught by Miss Weaver, and Starlings, taught by Miss Mayner. We are also joined by Mrs Jones and Miss Phillips. 

In Year 2 we explore a wide range of topics, from The Great Fire of London to the hot plains of Africa, and encourage children to always ask why. In addition to this children in Year 2 also learn recorders which is a fantastic experience! Further information about our learning can be found in our curriculum newsletters, which are sent out termly and can be found below. 

Key information: 

• School meals should be ordered through the My Child At School app 1 week in advance. 

• PE is on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Please ensure your child has the correct kit on these days, and is not wearing earrings. 

• Toast money is £1 for the week and will need to be paid on Mondays. We are unable to accept money on any other day of the week.
